Tara Technologies Opens New State of the Art Facility in Singapore

Tara Technologies Corporation announced that it has expanded its operations in Asia with the completion of a state-of-the-art facility in Singapore. Located in the Woodlands District of Singapore, Tara Technologies Pte. Ltd. expands the global footprint of Tara Technologies’ others facilities in Daytona Beach, Florida and San Carlos, California. The new facility will provide world-class design and fabrication, as well as product development staff capabilities for the Semiconductor, Aerospace, Energy and Medical markets.

The Singapore facility features 12,000 square feet of manufacturing and clean room space and houses manufacturing, design engineering, purchasing, and product / process development staff. With capabilities for design, precision welding, and complicated assembly & integration, the Singapore facility is currently manufacturing precision semiconductor components with assembly and testing capability in the 2,400 square foot class 1000 clean room. The state of the art facility is thoroughly equipped with high purity gas distribution for welding and assembly operations, aqueous cleaning equipment for precision metal components, CMM and inspection capability, metallurgical laboratory, product testing, and in-process machining capability. Welding process capabilities include Micro-GTAW, Plasma, and orbital GTAW.

Bobby See, will head the facility for Tara Technologies as Operations and SCM Director. Mr. See will apply his extensive experience in the region maintaining and expanding operations for the Singapore site.
